FAQs

  • Igor Soccer was founded on the tenants of growth mindset and technical skill development. The Soccer Routes difference is that we develop the player at their own rate instead of putting them into a cookie cutter system that doesn’t honor their personal progress. We believe in bringing out the best in each child, on and off the field. We coach children from 2 through 9 years of age.

  • We have a locations in Ocean Park, Los Amigos Park, Clover Park, Mar Vista Park, Playa Vista Park, John Adams Middle School for our program. These outdoor locations offer beautiful grass fields, clean restrooms, easy parking and lovely sidelines for the parents.

  • We do not offer trial classes. Our program is developmental and the results of the work cannot be shown in just one class. Please be sure that your child is willing and able to participate in all lessons before signing up.

  • Tuition for Soccer Routes classes is currently $29.99 per class with a minimum purchase of 10 classes. Our season length is dynamic based on permitting and holidays. Not all seasons are 10 weeks long. We enroll for our seasons 4 times a year. Please follow our social media for the most current updates about enrollment!

  • Our class placement is bespoke! We take into consideration the age and experience level of every player and place them individually into the best class for them that is available. Classes are once a week on Saturdays and Sundays between 8am and 12pm. Seasons are 10 weeks long. Please contact the enrollment team for class availability and placement.

  • This is a very common question especially from parents of our younger age groups. It’s easy to become frustrated when your child doesn’t immediately take to the sport. This is not uncommon, they are learning something entirely new! Try to remember that we are called Soccer Routes because development is a journey. Consistency and patience are the most important things in developing young players. Keep coming back, don’t get discouraged. Our coaches are trained for this! Our founder has created a ton of online content for parents that can be found on our instagram page to can help give you tips and tricks for managing expectations and making it a great experience for the whole family!

  • No. Igor Soccer places you upon sign up where we believe is best to learn for your child to grow as a player. We do our best to help work with you upon the best day and time within this policy prior to registration. However, once you are committed, then it is the duty of the client to attend classes within the time slot assigned to you. Our classes are almost completely sold out year round and are staffed to meet the correct legal and functional ratios of coaches to players. These are not drop in classes in any way.

We understand families have varying schedules, so please make sure you can attend prior to this commitment.

  • You will receive a Igor Soccer uniform shirt with your purchase. Uniforms will be distributed on your first day of class. We have extra Soccer Routes t-shirts available for $25.00, these donations benefit our scholarship fund. This is the required uniform to be worn at every session! For safety reasons (and team spirit), we want every child to be easily identifiable. Proper athletic shorts are the recommendation this will allow your child ultimate mobility within their class. Also, cleats are highly encouraged for all children but not mandatory. Shin guards recommended for ages 5 and up and required for all Academy level classes (Sunday 9am)

  • We ask for the exact age of your child to get them into as close of a developmental window as we can. We then cross reference that with their previous playing experience and we find the perfect class for you.

Due to this bespoke placement whilst we know it’s lovely to be with people you know from school and life, our placement is final for each season as our business focus is always for correct your players soccer and human development. We do our best to accommodate when possible but we kindly ask that you respect the vital system we have in place.

  • Our company guidelines do not allow your child to eat any form of snack within the confines of the class. This is to protect your child from any choking situation. Snacks are to be had before or after a training session. When it comes to water, we ask that you bring an ample amount of water to last your child the duration of the session. As the child gets older the curriculum begins to become more rigorous so more water will be needed.

  • Always assume “game on” unless you receive an email from our team. The decision to cancel is at the discretion of Igor Soccer and will be made 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled session based on conditions at the location of the session. Weather can vary greatly throughout the LA area, do not assume that the weather at your house is the same as at the field. Safety is always the highest priority for us, we evaluate every situation carefully and reserve the right to make individual decisions based on the information present. We may cancel classes in some time slots and not others. We strongly recommend that you follow our social media for the most “up to the minute” updates.

  • Igor Soccer does not give refunds or partial refunds of any kind. We ask that all clients understand that upon purchase of classes, they are entering into a contract in which they will attend their designated classes in the allotted time frame.
